Why is Tree Pruning so important?
As tree specialists we highly recommend pruning of your tree’s to help maintain a strong tree structure. Quite often due to weather conditions such as storms, low branches can be damaged and pose a threat to nearby pathways, roads, drives etc.
How often should I prune my trees?
Every species of tree grows at different rates and has differing implications for how often it will need pruning. Among shade trees, there are trees that can be trimmed every other year to the ones that can go 7 years or more in between tree pruning
When should I prune my trees?
All trees vary in recommendations in regards to pruning, below just a rough example;

For trees that bloom in spring, prune when their flowers fade.

Trees and shrubs that flower in mid- to late summer should be pruned in winter or early spring
